I have been learning Java by myself for a few months now and just created my first game, Pong, with menus/buttons, AI difficulties, one/two-player, etc. Everything is working well, but I want to explore more about multiplayer games. I realize Pong isn't the best game to do this since it is so fast-paced, but where should I start? I did some reading on UDP, servers, clients, sockets, etc. but I am having some trouble understanding it. I also have created a simple TCP chat server, but not with UDP. As some of you don't want to write a long answer, is there a good example of UDP Network Pong that someone is willing to share?
